The purpose of the Leanai Na Deithe Temple is to serve as a space for Pagans and any other curious members of the community to seek out and live for truth and justice. We also wish to educate the community about modern Paganism.
High Council: The Temple High Council is a group that can be comprised of any one in the hierarchy that has the Temple’s best interest in mind. The High Council performs the executive functions of the Temple, including but not limited to scheduling, bringing in new teachers and clergy, and maintaining relationships in the local community. One must receive an invitation to be a part of the Council.
Clergy: Our Clergy is composed of Priests, Priestesses, and Priestixes. These volunteers are here to serve the community’s spiritual needs and can be called upon for services such as personal counseling or aiding in performing a ritual. They will primarily lead in rituals, esbats, and sabbats.
Sept: Septs are community formed groups with specific purposes in mind. They have the option to have a clergy facilitate them.
Community Members: Community Members are people who attend septs, covens, rituals, sabbats, and esbats.
Septs can meet as often as they wish. Community Members can meet with Clergy for spiritual needs as often as they deem necessary. As a whole, the LND Temple will come together for Esbats and Sabbats. Community Members will be able to access a schedule of the Esbats and Sabbats for the year. No attendance commitment is necessary to be a part of the community.
Esbats are celebrations of Full Moons.
Sabbats are representative of the start of each season and the midpoints between them.
We hope to have in-person celebrations once again in the future.
For now, enjoy livestreams.
